Flowers are one of my favorite things to take photos of besides my family.  Maybe it is because I imagine someday I would have a flower garden of my own.

These horses were my mom's horses before she passed away.  Now my stepdad takes care of them.  The one on the left he still has.  The one on the right was traded for another horse.  I am glad he still has them they are beautiful horses.

Leaf in the Stream

You can take a photo of a leaf from different angles. I am not a professional photographer but this is one of my favorite angles because:
1. You can see the ripples of water in the stream.
2. When you take the picture you dont see your shadow in the water.
3. You can see the shadow of the leaf on this side.
4.  If you need your flash, it doesnt reflect in the water.

More Leaves

Here are some more examples of how you can change a simple leaf picture into a unique one. You can make your photos something beyond ordinary.

Daisy Flower

Editing Photos is fun and simple. You can do a variety of things to them and be creative in your own way. In all of these photos I cropped them from the original and I used automatic touch up. I also mixed different editing features such as; vignette, soften, adjustable threshold, invert, and tint.

Tiger Lilly Flower Photos

This is a photo I took in 2004 of a flower at my mom and stepdad's house. These photos are of the same flower.  This is a good example of how you can edit a photo taken by a point and shoot camera and make it look a lot better. I used the website picnik.com because it is free. There are probably other websites out there too that offer free services.  This is a good service for those of us who can't afford DSLR cameras or just simply prefer a simple point and shoot camera.
